How does the credit work?

Cloud credit distribution is up to the discretion of DigitalOcean and any credits granted by DigitalOcean are subject to the Promotional Credits Terms and Conditions.

Are there any limitations on how I can use the cloud credits?
How do I know if I’ve been approved for cloud credit? 

A representative of DigitalOcean will reach out to you via email with more information.

  • DigitalOcean reserves the right to revoke the credits as outlined in our Promotional Credits Terms and Conditions.
  • Must not have received previous DigitalOcean promotional credits.
  • Participants may not sell, license, rent, or otherwise transfer credits.
  • If selected, applicants must create a registered DigitalOcean team account with a business/company email (not a personal email account). 
  • Credits have no intrinsic value, are not redeemable for cash, have no cash value, are nonrefundable, and serve merely as a means to provide an incentive to use our services. No refunds will be granted for any expired or cancelled credits.
  • Credits are valid for a limited time only and cannot be redeemed after the expiration date indicated when you receive the applicable credits (or such other date designated by DigitalOcean).
  • The total amount credited to a Participant for any month will not exceed the amount of the owed charges for the services for that month.
  • If selected, applicants must adhere to DigitalOcean Terms of Service & Acceptable Use Policy.
