How do I sign up for the free trial?

Simply CLICK HERE to create a new account and get your free credits – it only takes 30 seconds! You will need a debit or credit card so that we can verify your identity, but you will not be charged or billed during your free trial.

Who is eligible for the free trial?

New customers to Elestio & DigitalOcean with a valid credit card are eligible. You are eligible if you have never been a paying customer of Elestio & DigitalOcean and have not previously signed up for the free trial.

What can I use the free trial for?

You can use the free trial to deploy any managed open source software in the Elestio catalogue.

What are the terms of service for the free trial?

The free trial requires that you accept the Elestio & DigitalOcean Terms of Service.

In what circumstances will I be billed during the first 30 days?

If you use more than $250 of services during the 30 day period you will be billed for any usage in excess of the $250 free trial amount. Charges will be billed to your debit or credit card. After 30 days, any active infrastructure services running on your account will be charged at standard pricing detailed on the Elestio website. We don't charge anything for the software (because it's open-source) but your software will be deployed on a dedicated KVM with a price per-hour-depending on the size of the VM. This price includes everything: storage, bandwidth, snapshots, remote backups, security and, of course, fully managed service. We will bill you for each active service until you choose to delete them. Even if you aren't actively using your server, you will be billed for it until it's deleted.

What will happen at the end of the free trial?

Any unused credit will be removed. However, if you have added at least $250 credit to your account your free trial credit won't expire, even after 30 days!

What will happen if my free trial credit is running out before 30 days have expired?

You will get an email notification in advance to warn you that your balance is running low and explaining how to add credit to your account. If you don't top up your account, once you have used $250 of services or once 30 days has expired without any balance top-up, your service will be suspended. You will have 3 days to add credit to your account in order to restore the service. After 3 days your service will be deleted and it will not be possible to restore it.
